J.R. Nelson is the site editor for DesktopReview, where he covers the latest advancements in CPU technology and computer hardware, and evaluates the latest in desktop systems technology. He works out of TechnologyGuide's Cincinnati office, where he directs desktop coverage, working with freelance writers and industry experts around the world to present the latest news and information on desktop PCs.
In his role as editor, J.R. develops and maintains relationships with PC and PC component manufacturers. He also keeps abreast of the latest technology trends by travelling to major press events such as the Consumer Electronics Show and E3 Expo. As a diehard gamer, J.R. is also responsible for TechnologyGuide's foray into gaming news and coverage. J.R. also works with other editors to review and evaluate products outside desktops, including digital cameras and smartphones.
